E-Board ResponsibilitiesSecretary/Webmaster · Maintain, update and redesign website with pictures, minutes, news and events · Take pictures at events · Take minutes · Meeting attendance sheet · Maintain and update yahoogroups list · Reserve rooms for meetings · Reserve tables for events · E-mails and reminders for meetings/events · Keep an eye out for campus events etc. where IBA can participate/promote (help out program director) · Speaker presents · Update constitution · Renewal of Office Space
Treasurer· Manage bank account and money receits (book, keep it on a disk?) · Direct fundraising activities (with Program Director and Fundraising Chair) · Pursue external funding/donation possibilities, sponsors (with President) · File annual budget with Student Activities Office · Buy and order refreshments/utensils
PR & Membership Director· Recruitment of new members (update presentation, keep an eye out for events like Rocket Fest, Student Appreciation Day, Freshman Orientation etc.) · Maintain membership data base with applications (include birth days for newsletter) · Create address list to distribute · Update bulletin board · Announce meetings in collegian · Advertise/flyers for events · Member services (current and potential members) · Alumni records · Maintain and update brochure · Newslette
VP & Program Director · Coordinate events, avoid time conflicts with other UT events · Coordinate speaker invitations · “Organize” and coordinate community service projects (help from Service Chair) · Organize fun events · Organize and coordinate field trips like spring trip to Chicago, D.C. (help from all officers and membership) · Coordinate Fundraising activities (consult with Treasurer and Fundraising Chair) · Keep an eye out for events IBA can participate in · Intramurals
President· Coordinate and direct officers’ activities and duties · Maintain and cultivate relationships with higher officials at CBA, UT and community · Maintain and cultivate relationship with other student organizations (UT, and off-campus) · Work to promote IBA’s reputation on campus · Network and keep contact with professionals, career opportunity sources · Mediate officer conflicts · Fill out annual report (assistance from Treasurer) · Document organization’s annual history (work with all officers) · Develop and maintain e-board handbook |
